weapon of choice did their thing as e-sharp's dancin and yoga chakra like moves energized and excited me. she was gettin it. weapon of choice started to play highper spice, maybe my favorite song but stopped and played another which was the last song they may ever play there.

medusa is really really good and they did their version of make my funk the p-funk and it was powerful. and i mean she may be too good, too strong, too deep in a way that music should be but we have not been programmed for.

 the last song i danced to in my most favorite hangout before it's scheduled closing was (not just) knee deep by funkadelic- my favorite studio recorded song of all time.  it was a very fitting way for me to make my exit. ironically, the place where for years i had struggled with and worshipped the overwhelmingly white girl demographic was filled with more black females than i may have ever seen it.
