This is an initial research post from the first H: and R: video-index build. The catalog contains 8,063 videos. The purpose of this pass was to see how much useful organization could be recovered from filenames and folder names before doing deeper transcript, visual, or geolocation work.
How the process developed
- Search the full H: and R: catalog for PFunk, P-Funk, and related spelling variants.
- Review the matching filenames and paths for recognizable song, performance, project, or event names.
- Search those results for Cosmic Slop and related spelling variants.
- Look for venue, city, state, event, or performance clues embedded in the filename.
- Keep the result clearly labeled as filename evidence. A filename is a useful clue, not proof of an exact location or song identity.

Initial counts
- 8,063 videos in the completed H: and R: catalog.
- 182 videos with PFunk/P-Funk in the full path or filename.
- 91 videos with PFunk/P-Funk directly in the filename.
- 27 filenames containing Cosmic Slop, CosmicSlop, or a spacing variant.
- 17 Cosmic Slop filenames containing a named venue, place, event, or performance-context clue.
- 3 Cosmic Slop records also matched PFunk/P-Funk in the path or filename.

What this tells us
The filenames already contain a useful rough index of songs, performances, projects, events, and possible locations. They also show why the next layer should be a separate personal location-reference document: confirmed GPS data, filename clues, folder context, and later human notes should remain distinguishable.
Important: this is an initial raw filename-based listing. It does not claim that every filename is an official song title, that every venue name is the exact filming location, or that a city name proves where the camera was located. The deeper video metadata pass found GPS tags for 817 videos, which can be compared with these filename clues.
