extra ordinary claims require extraordinary proof. first off, i see no evidence that there is a God. And if by God a person means a “Creator,” i see no evidence this creator interacts in our day to day lives. there are questions i cannot answer as to our origins and purpose, and i am comfortable with “i/we dont know” as an answer. i understand totally why people believe in God and the comfort faith gives- I TOTALLY AM A FAN OF FAITH!. Faith works and has driven humanity to accomplish the greatest things. Faith and love move mountains. i am a fan of science and have ideas of our origins that i feel more comfortable believing than the creation story. my understanding of life and how the universe works gets me by without an external conscious source to guide it. thats what works for me. other people are free to believe as they wish and im cool with that, until their ideas cant stand the test of logic. i will never challenge someone on their right to believe 1 + 1 = 7, but i will come at them with both guns loaded to explain their reasoning behind such a claim.20031113-005--300x211

i love nerdy theological discussions! i believe the media and the internet and the open discussion of religion is what is going to be its downfall. never before has a person been free to ask questions about God on such a widespread basis without persecution and ridicule. and when the most holy of people are asked straight questions they cannot answer them, they have to refer to faith. and faith is the belief in things for which there is no evidence. in todays world we are use to direct detailed answers about everything and the kids grow up expecting this instantly on their phones from google. and they get these answers! and they are asking intelligent detailed questions about God that no one can answer, only faith can answer these. the following generations will make their own decisions regarding God and religions and the example that started this conversation is just the beginning. kids are allowed to question god openly in public now maybe for the first time ever.

My Latest Hypothesis About Our Origins

My latest hypothesis is that life, the process of life, and/or the life creating/ inducing mechanism began before the creation of this universe. Thereby giving this process an all but infinite time to develop and evolve.563677_10151625604192125_2136977901_n

How life and it all started We and I have no clue, but through the sciences we are able to observe, predict and understand processes which produce life and physical things in this universe. It is very, very complex but can be broken down to many, many simple systems working in a mind boggling harmony. And all these simpler systems need is time and chance opportunities to occur. In a single 15 billion year old universe scenario the probability of life is virtually impossible (thats where Gods come in), but once we give the process infinite time and possibilities life becomes all but inevitable.

My previous idea was that the life generating process had to be older than this universe in Big Bang scenario, and I imagined something would have to survive singularity. But with my mulitple universe idea, a life generator can exist outside of any individual universe and “seed” that particular physics. This gives creation trillions upon trillions upon trillions of “years” and an all but infinite amount of “universes” the chance or opportunity to happen.

Pondering Our Origins

149352_10151439773102125_1230131461_nEducation not only provides more possibilities and solutions, but enhances the process by which answers are found. Without a basic understanding of the sciences and how chemistry, biology, astronomy etc all operate together, how does one come to an explanation for the origin of life and the Universe? How is this very complex question answered without the accumulated study, experiment and knowledge of Mankind? The questioning of our origins will lead us to the most important answers there are: Why are we here? What is our purpose?

 

It is possible life as we know it may have to go beyond what we were “created” for or by. We may find that what we have evolved into was not the intention if there was a conscious creator. We may find life as we know it was an unintended consequence of an “eternal ongoing” process. We may find that for life to continue “forever” life must do battle with the forces that created it to survive. This …is the way life works via the evolutionary process in the only ecosystem we know, ours. There is no set or determined goal of life. This process did not intend to create Man, the intention of this process is to continue. We are not the final or highest point of this process, we are just a step an evolutionary step in this process.

 

I miss my stop theorizing about the universe and had to back track 3 stations! LOL LIFE IS GOOD!

Desiring A New Level Of Consciousness

It may be my 2 month old sobriety has opened my eyes. It may be I’m just getting old. Or maybe I’ve naturally grown bored of the same ole, same ole. But I am ready for change. And though I know that the “everything and everybody” around me will be a part of it, I deeply feel no external source I have experienced can get me to this new understanding. I’m at the point now I want to create my own philosophy, music, understandings and stories. There are only parts and pieces of external influences and entities that I align with. 

imageI have found no external entity or ideal that I totally agree with. With with my “age” and experience I feel I have the confidence to create my own ideals. The key being confidence. I have no apprehension in “comparing” my philosophical ideas with any other and seeing how it matches up logically,  philosophically and spiritually. I am confident enough to challenge any long standing tradition because my life experience has rewarded me many times when I have stepped away from common concepts that I did not agree with.

Brooks Project Band (20130322) LIVE Webcast Technical Notes

jefferytv-logo-smallishThe technical strategy is successful. Using properly positioned MXL microphones with USB interface to laptop, capturing high quality audio recording of event was very good. There was no soundboard or central public address system and many amps but was able to properly capture event. Using High-Definition Microsoft Life Cam Google Play / YouTube Live broadcast I was able to webcast above average video quality. Also this strategy allowed me to use the high quality audio captured via the USB / MXL mics for the broadcast while capturing highly quality audio stereo .wav file.

This technical plan is solid. In this situation the only issue was the venue did not have WiFi or an internet connection. Amazingly I was able to use outdoor Time Warner WiFi (free cause I have Time Warner cable at home) as an internet connection. The signal would vary greatly and this affected video quality produced noise glitches in the audio. A solid internet connection and this strategy should be flawless. Also very happy with quality of audio that was broadcast.

Was able to continuously stream for 2 hour at a time and later download these videos as mp4 files. Was able to embed the video player for live broadcast directly  into webpages immediately and during streaming of show.

Very very happy with results.

Rumor: Local Guest Players To Cover P-Funk Classics At Rosa Lee Brooks Jam In L.A. Friday 3/22

Unconfirmed reports have come into jefferyTV that local musicians Henderson Wickliffe, Lloyd Majors and others will be sit-in guests at Rosa Lee Brooks weekly jam session. It is rumored that the session will include covers of P-Funk classics which may include Funkadelic’s “Cosmic Slop.”

JefferyTV will be broadcasting the event live from the Living Room on Crenshaw Blvd in Los Angeles Friday evening March 22 which is scheduled to begin around 9 pm Pacific time.

Street Niggers And Me

IMAG0899One day one of these street niggers (not “niggas”) gonna come up at me cause I walk by way too proudly smiling way too hard looking them in the face cause I got a job and a career and am happy to be making it work within the system. And Im sure they young gotta be loud cause they got nothing else asses can feel it too. Its one thing to be at a disadvantage and have challenges, and its another to b…e openly public and aggressively disruptive because of it. Oh yeah, chin high smiling with my badge, fountain pens and sack lunch going to work for the man! LOL I am so very proud of the career I have worked and studied to establish for myself and the biggest bonus is its no accident that I love doing what I do.

@xxxxxx Fuck that. I cant fall down to that level and its thinking like that which gives these niggers confidence to be on the corner in the hood. I dont give a damn how bad it gets i will not resort to being that or doing that. Its one thing to be homeless and its another to be disruptive, criminal and be proud of being that. And hell yes im judging!!! Cause I EARNED THE RIGHT TO JUDGE!!!!! Does my judging mean anything? Maybe not but i have that right!!

My son is trying to get caught up in that shit and he has no reason to be. From where i sit its a choice he is making. And do i feel the same way towards him as i do them niggers? YES!!! And ive told him that to his face. Media, music, the glorification of criminals, whatever it is it is real and black people got a problem they need to solve and i believe part of the problem is your kind of “dont judge” thinking that says “oh well, he been to prison, he is ok” NO!!!!! I aint for that if you do the crime you not only do the time you live with it for the rest of your life. And do i think im “better” than ex convicts? YES i do!!! Why? Simply cause i kept my ass out of prison!!!!!! Black folks seem to want to overlook that. Yeah God aint the only one who can judge you future employers can too. And how you gonna support yourself without the judgement of an employer????

@xxxxxx and thats cool!! I dont mind being somebodys nigger!! That doesnt slow me down at all!! People have the right to judge and have their own opinion!! And mrs stewart i dont give a damn how bad things get there are certain things YOU would NOT stoop to doing. If that makes us better than some people in certain ways, so be it. It may not make us a better person than somebody else, but there are things some people do better than others and living life is one of them.

And im not saying black people are the only ones who need or should better themselves, im saying aint nobody gonna better black people but black people!! It starts with us!!! And the things i see glorified in the black community i judge to be not going in a direction that will better black people. Thats my opinion, my judgement and im allowed to have one just like any God you can show me.
