FUNKATOURISM: Carlon responded positive when i pumped for P-FUNK shows in South America and Africa. i done funked on 4 continents i want to get in at least 6 before “retirement” (note the quotes). then i said “hell, Antarctica too!” and Mr. Clinton said “funk with the penguins.”

What P-Funk Does To Me
walkin’ around at lunch gettin’ my steps did went in the direction of Shelia E at Pershing Square only had a half hour and knew i couldn’t get in so i figure i’d walk around the block and take in the music. get there like right when she opened up with a funky version the Star Spangled Banner which i found beautifully political and then she grooved some and then went into One Nation Under A Groove. i lost it.

Using Chopsticks In Tokyo
i had udon the night before and the morning i left Tokyo. i remember being in Billboard Live eating my food using chopsticks. whenever i get chinese food i use chopsticks (and that’s probably racist and i’m ok with that).
